Rich Poole reported that the Rendezvous Project had a net profit of $2,050, after all expenses including one
scholarship. The profits were split with the Miss Old Northwest Territory committee. The $1,125 will be donated as
our club’s share of the 2008-09 Polio Plus program to match the $100 Million dollar matching grant from the Gates
Foundation, to finish the job of eliminating Polio from the face of the Earth. We are 99% complete with only 4
countries left to go, but they will be the most difficult. Anyone wishing to make an individual contribution to Polio
Plus can contact Jim Gislason.
